The care of a new puppy is making sure they are not missing any meals and drinking their water. It's important you give them a nice secure place to sleep and include an area for them to potty in. They change over to a new home and new schedules pretty well but of course they are under stress, so get that established for eating and pottying and be vigilant and you will have success. Do not allow them to miss their meals because the puppy is already stressed in their new home, and stress or lack of eating can cause hypoglycemia, low blood sugar. It's best to be prepared and stay on top of these things rather than have something go wrong. Keep things calm around the home and do not rush them, they need to feel secure and the rest will come.
